I started in the internet marketing business in 2008. It took me some time to get started, some people call it a learning curve. I call it not knowing where to start.
If you have spent any time at all on the internet trying to find that one system, or the exact product that will tell you how to “Make Your Internet Fortune,” you will know what I mean about not knowing where to start. Every would be marketer is selling an ebook or ecourse that will show you how to make money easily from your bedroom in your pajamas,or from your vacation in the Bahamas, or even while you sleep cozy in your bed.
You find a marketers “squeeze page” with little web form box asking for your name and email address. The marketer gives you all this hype about how his ebook will tell you how to Make money at home, Make money online or Make Money fast. I know you have if you have spent anytime at all looking. And every guru out there has that one perfect money makin system that will send you from rags to riches online.
You get those emails to saying the same thing. Maybe from curiousity you open one. Theres the same hyped up message, Make money online or Make Money fast! They are every where! on the results pages of your web searches, in the ads of your Yahoo mail, or gmail, or what ever free email service it is you use.
Theres even those late night ads on tv. You know the half hour infomercials, usually the reale-state guru or how you can have your internet shortcut to millions. “Just Buy My System.”
Its all quite confusing if you don’t know where to begin.
So can you really make money on the internet?
Can you really make money working part time in your pajamas? Or have your web based business run on automatic while you sleep? Can you really fire your boss and work for yourself from the freedom of your own home? Is there some sure fire wealth secret?
The answer is simply, yes.
There are thousands and thousands of people making money from home with there computers.
There are also that many, no, probably a thousand times that trying, and failing.
Many people who try, quit. Some estimates are aroud 97%.
Why am I telling you this?
Why? Because it isn’t as easy as it sounds. And you can’t (don’t believe it if they tell you) start making money instantly over-night. When would be internet entrepreneurs find out it isn’t that easy,or that they might have to learn some technical skill, they get scared, they don’t know how to create a web page or set up and email autoresponder or how to collect payment from customers. They don’t even know where to start!
