<p>Choose with a topic that is relevant to your website and find a good keyword for it. This is the phrase that people will use when they use a search engine to find your article. If you aren&#8217;t sure how to do keyword research, just ask yourself what words you would use to search for an article on this topic.</p>
<p>Think of an aspect of your topic that can be made into a list. You&#8217;re going to write an article that has the &#8220;Top Ten Ways&#8221; to do something, or &#8220;Six Simple Techniques For&#8221; something, or &#8220;Five Questions To Ask&#8221; Whoever. Other possibilities include &#8220;Six Great Ideas For&#8230;,&#8221; &#8220;Top Ten Tips for&#8230;,&#8221; &#8220;Ten Secrets About&#8230;,&#8221; &#8220;Three Steps To&#8230;,&#8221; and so on.</p>
<p>Now just follow the simple outline below. Suppose the article is on ways that you can get free traffic for a website, and the key word is &#8220;free website traffic.&#8221;</p>
<p>1. Write a title for the article, using the keyword it, so searchers can find your article more easily: &#8220;Six Ways To Get Free Website Traffic.&#8221;</p>
<p>2. Write a description of one or two sentences, telling the reader what they will get from reading your article: &#8220;How many ways do you use to get free traffic for your website? You&#8217;ll learn six of the best here.&#8221;</p>
<p>3. &#8220;Sell&#8221; the article in the first paragraph, using the keyword again: &#8220;Free website traffic is a few clicks away if you know where to look&#8230;&#8221;</p>

<p>A well-written article can:</p>
<p>- help build your profile</p>
<p>- draw traffic to your site, and</p>
<p>- help build a database of clients through associated e-courses or newsletter.</p>
<p>How do you write the article? You can come up with the content &#8211; How do you grab those readers and make them come back for more?</p>
<p>As you can construct and edit an article (it has a beginning, middle and end; and you can check the grammar and spelling); if you want to WIN readers &#8211; think about what they want to know.</p>
<p>Put your readers first. Give them what they want and they&#8217;ll be queuing up to read anything you produce.</p>
<p>A blueprint for writing articles that captivate your readers &#8211; whatever the topic &#8211; is a follows:</p>
<p>1. What Do Your Readers Want</p>

<p>You may know what they want because you&#8217;re an expert in the field. If you don&#8217;t know the subject well, you&#8217;ll have to research. Look for forums on your topic and see what people are discussing. What are the problems? Can you provide an answer?</p>

<p>Work on your opening. Try to avoid trite questions like &#8220;Have you wondered why people find it difficult to lose weight?&#8221; It&#8217;s dull and it&#8217;s not targeting the person reading the article &#8211; what do they care about the difficulties &#8220;people&#8221; have losing weight? They care about THEIR weight problem!</p>
<p>The opening paragraph should give the reader that warm &#8220;Hey, this is about me!&#8221; feeling. &#8211; &#8220;This could be the answer I&#8217;ve been looking for&#8230;&#8221;</p>

<p>&#8220;Diet gurus make it all sound easy: To lose weight, all you have to do is expend more energy than you take in. Huh!</p>
<p>If it were that simple, the &#8220;Big People&#8221; stores would be out of business. For those of us tired of diets, gyms and dull group meetings, there is a back-to-basics way to tackle this. It won&#8217;t cost you a fortune or leave you feeling deprived.&#8221;</p>
<p>3. Write As You Speak&#8230;Then Edit!</p>

<p>The sample opening above illustrates the importance of the tone used in your article. You need &#8216;meat&#8217; to make it worth reading.</p>
<p>Write your article in a natural style that&#8217;s akin to normal conversation. If the first draft is too informal &#8211; fix that when you edit. Readers may want facts, tips, and strategies, but they want entertainment too! Let your personality shine.</p>
<p>4. End On A High</p>
<p>Most articles fizzle out! Writers often don&#8217;t know how to end on an upbeat note. They either stop dead or come up with a trite ending like: &#8220;So what are you waiting for? Get started today!&#8221;</p>
<p>The beginning and the ending of your article are the parts that make the biggest impression. Creat a feeling of anticipation&#8230; and leave them feeling satisfied (or excited) when you finish.</p>
<p>Offering advice to help solve a problem gives your readers a reason to feel optimistic about themselves. Don&#8217;t make promises&#8230; but offer hope.</p>
<p>If you are giving hints on marketing or business, sum up the benefits. Experiment with using a humorous quote, or giving readers a specific action to get them started. Be creative.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s a final tip: create a cheat-sheet. Divide it into beginnings/middles/ends and add more strategies as you think of them. (For example, using the tips in this article, you might write:</p>
<p>ENDINGS &#8211; end on a high, offer hope, use funny quote, suggest action to get started.)</p>
<p>Do this, and you&#8217;ll be cranking out articles everyone wants to publish!</p>

<p>#1 reason why people fail online is because they fail to deliver fresh content. Let&#8217;s forget search engines for a second, instead let&#8217;s concentrate on the end user who visits your web site.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s say &#8220;Jim&#8221; has been to your site once before and all of a sudden he sees your web site for something else and decides to visit. But what, oh no, it&#8217;s the very same thing he saw 1 month ago. What happens to Jim? Just another statistic from your web site that will never get repeated.</p>
<p>On another note, let&#8217;s say Jim happened to see your link in search engines again, except this time, you&#8217;ve revised your web site template. Jim is now intrigued and excited to see what is new, but oh oh, you have the same bloody content as the last time. Jim is yet again another statistic.</p>
<p>NOW &#8211; Let&#8217;s say, not only have your revised your images, template, graphics, you&#8217;ve also been committed to adding 1 article on your site every single day. Jim is happier than the pope himself since you&#8217;ve played right into Jim&#8217;s hand.</p>
<p>We all search online, for some of us, it&#8217;s sheer boredom, for others, it&#8217;s doing what your not supposed to be doing at work and so on. The whole point is, if nothing changes on your site, how do you expect to stimulate people to come back. Getting people to your site is the easy part, getting someone to come back is very tough.</p>
<p>So back to the title: &#8220;Why you see the SAME AUTHORS all the time!&#8221; </p>
<p>It&#8217;s not only a matter of adding an article everyday to bring people back but at the same time, search engines act almost like us. They see new content (they=search engines), they also get excited and browse around to see what you&#8217;ve added, not to mention that they also index all your pages for search engine listings.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s go a little further and bring attention to this newly found content. Many people out there are hiding their new content within folders and sub-directories and so on. What I suggest is having a small little box on your front page that just details some daily new content. Try keeping the content you add within this box up there on your site for about a week or so, just so that new visitors have a chance to view it and search engines have a chance to index it.</p>
<p>So in the end, a site that doesn&#8217;t grow daily will have accomplished nothing online. A web site that caters to the needs of the many, will have more success than it can handle.</p>
<p>What you put into the world, will ultimately come back to you in the same amount.</p>

<p>Now you have convinced yourself to take the plunge into article marketing and you have a few articles all lined up and ready to submit &#8212; and you are overwhelmed by the sheer volume and variety of article directories available. It is easy to simply go with the big dogs and forget the rest, but that is a big mistake. </p>
<p>You really need to have a 3-tiered article submission strategy. Select a couple of the big dogs, but also add some medium-sized directories and some smaller, newer directories to your list for regular submission as well.  There are several reasons why this strategy can be much more effective in the long run than targeting the large directories alone.</p>
<p>The mega-directories carry a big punch in terms of link power and recognition. You can almost watch the reader numbers climb on your articles. But because they are so big they also get a large volume of submissions every day and your articles very quickly move from the top page of the directories new submissions list and even from the top page of the topic listing.</p>
<p>Medium-sized directories don&#8217;t pack as big a punch as the mega, but their text link value is still strong and they usually have a solid reader base. They have been around long enough to build a loyal audience and clientele. However because they are not as big their submission volume is lower than the mega so your articles retain top billing longer &#8212; and becoming a top article or top author may be an attainable goal for the part-timer.</p>
<p>Small and/or new directories usually don&#8217;t offer nearly the level of power of their larger brethren, but a quick study will reveal whether or not the directory is regularly maintained and promoted &#8212; and you know that will mean the link power currently exists and will grow in the near future. Also with new and small directories you can easily achieve top author status and your articles will stay at the top of the ranking longer &#8212; they may well pass directly from &#8220;new&#8221; status to &#8220;top&#8221; status which rarely if ever happens at a mega directory.</p>

<p>Many of us dream of writing a book. Why not. </p>
<p>What<br />
greater story cans one write about than one&#8217;s own. Each<br />
day brings a new beginning, a new page in the book of life.  </p>
<p>What can you write about?</p>
<p>Someone said everyone has a story. How true. Each day<br />
that pass by, is a page in your book of life Where to start?<br />
From the very depths of your soul, from your heart.</p>
<p>What<br />
stirs you?<br />
What excites you?<br />
What challenges you?<br />
What<br />
frustrates you?<br />
What makes you happy?</p>
<p>Are you having the so-called writer`s block?  </p>
<p>All blocks<br />
can be readily removed, dealt with and best of all, replaced<br />
 with determination.</p>
<p>Just sit down and start writing. Think<br />
of a word, write about that word and keep writing. </p>
<p>Simplistic?</p>
<p>Not really. A word can get your fingers flying on the<br />
keyboard, or if you believe in paper and pen, go ahead<br />
and let your thoughts flow out  from the tip of your pen<br />
to that precious paper.</p>
<p>Develop the habit of writing everyday, yes, everyday.<br />
Write something and you`d be amazed at the database<br />
of ideas stored in your brain waiting to be discovered.</p>
<p>You do not have to write about a new idea, a new concept,<br />
a new theory. Think of a fresh approach, a different angle,<br />
a different perspective. </p>
<p>Think of this: You go on a nature hike with four of your<br />
friends. You take the same route, see the same scenery,<br />
under the same canopy of foliage and sky and step on<br />
the same terrain, hike under the same weather conditions. </p>
<p>After the hike, surely there will be five different versions of<br />
the experience or adventure. You go home and describe the<br />
day`s hike to family and friends, each one will have different<br />
 picture of the scenery, of the hikers and their experience.  If<br />
this day was captured and frozen in time with your camera,<br />
each pair of eyes that looks at the picture will have different<br />
perspective of each picture. </p>
<p>Each one will see different features<br />
that attracts their attention.</p>
<p>Life within you, life around you, people in your world,<br />
your hobbies, your dreams, your adventures. The list goes<br />
on. There is always an angle waiting to be discovered, an<br />
idea eager to be  interpreted, to  be written and shared<br />
with the world. </p>
<p>So, what`s holding you back? What is important is to<br />
just sit down and start writing. Tap into that deep reserve<br />
of knowledge  that lies deep within. Swim in the river<br />
of experience, enjoy the swim as you get in deeper, your<br />
strokes stronger and more confident.</p>
<p>Don`t put it off for another day. Surprise yourself.</p>
<p>The world awaits to hear from you.</p>
